| Vadim Federovich Korobov (Russian/Ukrainian, b.1931), oil on artist board; signed, titled and dated 1977 on the reverse. Size: 13 7/8 inches x 19 1/4 inches. Excellent condition. This genre painting depicts young people planting trees and is titled 'Spring.' Korobov is a Ukrainian painter. After his discharge from the Soviet Army in 1950, he enrolled in the Lugansk Art School, where he studied with the renowned Soviet artist, A. Filbert. Korobov's works are found in some 35 museums across Russia and the Ukraine. | ||
