| Robert Shaw Wesson (American, 1902-1967) landscape painting of a Vermont valley in summer. Oil on canvas board, c.1950s, 18" x 24". Robert Wesson was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and studied under Jay Hall Connaway. He is best known for his winter landscapes of New England. This painting captures the essence of a Vermont summer with a river gently winding its way through a valley beneath the Green Mountains in the background. Excellent condition; offered in a modern frame. Signed lower right. | ||
