| Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) - Yvette Guilbert. This colored lithograph is an original page from the weekly satirical newspaper "Le Rire", published in 1894. Toulouse-Lautrec produced 10 colored drawings for this humorous periodical over a period of three years, from 1894-1897. This illustration is of Yvette Guilbert, a music hall performer, who thrilled Parisian audiences with her audacious songs, curious smile and gestures with her long black gloves. She was one of his favorite theatre subjects. Excellent condition. Image size: 10.75" x 8" (sight). Offered in a modern gilt wood frame. | ||
