| George II cream jug of inverted baluster form in sterling silver, London, 1757-58. It is decorated with bands of gadrooning to the top rim and at the base, and has a leaf capped double scroll handle. Hallmarks are worn but with a legible date letter (maker's mark indistinct). Good condition with no dents (not certain whether there has been any repair to the base, but solder lines are neatly done). No monograms. Size: 4 1/8" ht. | ||
