Continental standing cow creamer fashioned of 800 standard silver, with a German origin. Circa late 19th/early 20th century. The cow exhibits a pair of forward curling horns, has its tail curled on the top of its back, and displays a full udder. There is a hinged cover on its back for filling, and the cream pours through its mouth. Excellent condition and with wonderful detailing to the cow's features. The cow stands firmly, but has a very slight wobble. No repairs. Size: 5 3/8" length x 4" ht. It is stamped on the underside with an 800 hallmark, together with the German crown and crescent moon symbols. Also it has been stamped with the word 'Germany', which has since been largely erased.
