| Otis Pierce Cook, Jr. (American, 1900-1980) landscape painting titled "Vermont Hills", oil on artist board. Circa 1950s. An attractive village and mountain scene in winter by this North Shore, Massachusetts painter. Signed lower right, titled on the reverse and offered in its original frame. Painting size: 12" x 16". Excellent condition. Otis Cook, Jr. was born in New Bedford, MA. He studied painting under Emile Gruppe and is best known for his harbor views. He was a member of the Rockport Art Association, the North Shore Artists Association, and The Guild of Boston Artists. | ||
