| Dennis Sheehan (American, 1950 - ) landscape painting in early spring. Oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Sheehan paints in the Barbizon mode, and his works show the influence of the great tonalist George Inness. He delights in capturing the moods of nature's ever-changing landscapes in the style of his 19th century predecessors. Circa 1990. Sheehan currently maintains a gallery in Manchester, New Hampshire. Size: 20" x 24". Provenance: acquired directly from the artist. Condition: excellent but with one small restored patch in the sky undertaken by the artist himself.
