| English early Victorian two-drawer work/sewing stand with veneered lift-top in figured burr walnut, above two drawers. Circa 1830s. The upper drawer pulls out to reveal a fitted working interior with sliding trays, divided compartments and a flip over built-in pin cushion, also in burr walnut. The carved and turned legs are in solid walnut and are supported by a medial stretcher. Condition is excellent, but with a piece missing from one of the turnings on one leg and with modification to the hinges on the top. Dimensions: 29" 1/2" high x 19 1/8" wide x 16" deep. | ||
