Joseph Richardson, Philadelphia silver tea spoon
Early American Colonial era coin silver tea spoon by noted silversmith, Joseph Richardson of Philadelphia. Circa 1760. This spoon is in very good condition and has an upturned handle with pronounced mid rib and engraved block initials of the original owner. The back of the bowl is adorned with a shell drop. The handle is stamped with the silversmith's mark JR in a rectangle. Size: 6.5 inches.
