| "Hill Rhythms" by William Edward Bloomfield Starkweather (Scottish/American, 1879-1969), oil on masonite, 1932, signed lower right. An impressionist landscape and inscribed on the verso "Hill Rhythms by William Starkweather, painted at Oneonta, NY in 1932." Starkweather was born in Edinburgh and became a landscape painter. He studied in NYC at the Art Students League, in France and under Sorolla in Madrid, Spain. Size: 13 inches x 16 inches. | ||
