Thomas Moran (American, 1837-1926) - Bridge in the Pass of Glencoe, Scotland. Etching and mezzotint on Japan paper. Second state 1888 (originally published in 1882). Signed by the artist in pencil T. Moran in lower left margin and signed in the plate lower right, together with thistle remarque. Published by Estes and Lauriat. Ref.: Klackner 29. Image size: 9 1/8 inches x 11 1/2 inches. Thomas Moran was an eminent American painter and printmaker, who is known for his depictions of the natural landscapes of America.
