Rare Limoges porcelain 6-piece coffee set for one with hand painted scenes of Native Americans. Circa 1900. This set consists of an individual coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, coffee can and two saucers, and is decorated in a canary yellow ground with black accents. Each piece has a reserve with a painted scene of 18th century Native Americans and British and French colonials. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, only with some minor wear to the black glaze around the rims of the two saucers. Size: coffee pot - 5 1/2 inches ht.; sugar bowl - 3 1/8 inches ht. X 5 inches across handles; creamer - 2 5/8 inches ht.; coffee can - 2 1/4 inches ht.; saucers - 4 7/8 inches diameter. The two saucers and the coffee can are marked with a Limoges underglaze mark, while the remaining pieces are unmarked.
