| R.C. Gorman (Native American, 1931-2005) - Red Concho. Date: 1989. Original signed limited edition lithograph, 248 of 300, including the accompanying book, "R.C. Gorman: The Graphic Work" bound in leather and linen in a slip case. Both the lithograph and the book are signed by Gorman and numbered. Size of print: 10.75 inches x 13.5 inches. Excellent condition and offered framed. R.C. Gorman has become one of the best known artists of the American Southwest. He was born in Arizona and grew up on the Navajo Reservation. He concentrated on portraying Navajo women in various poses. From 1962 onwards, most of his time was spent in San Francisco and Taos, New Mexico where he exhibited his paintings, eventually opening a gallery in Taos. The lithograph "Red Concho" was especially created for the special limited edition book which is included with this print. | ||
