July Fifteenth by Grant Wood (American, 1891-1942), original stone lithograph, signed by the artist in pencil in lower right margin, 1938, edition of 250, image size 9" x 11 7/8". Condition: excellent, with archival framing, and retaining the original label of the Associated American Artists who published it. Grant Wood was a midwestern artist, who spent most of his life in Iowa. He was a co-founder of the Stone City Art Colony and became a professor of art at the University of Iowa. ...click for details
