Francis F. Jamieson (1893-1950). A dramatic landscape painting of the Scottish highlands showing the Brig 'O Teith, N.B. (North Britain), a stone arched bridge over the River Teith, near the village of Doune in southern Perthshire. The River Teith is renowned for its fishing, and the bridge was constructed by Robert Spittal, a royal tailor, in 1535. Oil on canvas; 16" x 24" canvas size; signed W.
