18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.

Ornate large Georgian style Chinese rococo gilt wood pier mirror with three beveled glass mirror panels, adorned with carved shells, floral garlands and ho ho birds. Age: late 19th/early 20th century. Size: 7 feet ht. x 5' feet 10.5 inches wide. Condition: some minor loss at edges of frame and to birds' wings. Some cloudiness to mirror.

An impressive throne chair or bishop's chair fashioned in the English Gothic Revival style. This chair is adorned with carved oak spires, linen fold panelling, Gothic arches with pillars, heraldic shields and tendrils of foliage. The hinged seat reveals a storage compartment below...

Bernard Corey (American, 1914-2000) - Misty Harbor marine painting of lobster fishermen repairing their traps. Oil on masonite. Size: 9 inches x 14 inches. Signed in the lower right. Paintings of coastal views were uncommon subjects for Bernard Corey, even more so, when they include figures, as in this example, where fishermen are shown repairing their lobster pots on an early misty morning...

Jacob I. Greenleaf (American, 1887-1968) - 'Autumn Glory, Mount Monadnock, NH,' oil on linen landscape painting, circa 1950s, signed in lower right. Size: 25 inches x 30 inches. Excellent condition and offered in the original carved gold leaf frame, including artist's label which gives the title, Autumn Glory. There is also an exhibition label from the Boston Society of Independent Artists 16th Annual Exhibition, that shows the title as Autumn Gold with an original price tag of $275...

Luigi Lucioni (Italian/American, 1900-1988) - 'October Sparkle,' original watercolor painting on paper, dated 1953. Size: 7 inches x 9 inches. Signed and dated in the lower right. Also, retaining on the reverse of the frame, the original Associated American Artists label giving the title, October Sparkle, together with the original asking price of $100. There is a personalized inscription from the artist which reads: "For Dorothy, Until the green one comes along .....

Rare Yuan dynasty red lacquerware oval tray, Chinese, 14th century, carved with two three-toed dragons encircled by a border of crashing waves. Size: 8 3/8 inches x 6 3/4 inches x 1 inch deep. Condition: two spots where the lacquer is missing on the top of the rim, some old filler on the foot ring on the under side, some cracking to the lacquer and a few tiny spots of loss to the incised lacquer in the background...

Herend porcelain three-piece tea set, hand painted in the popular Rothschild bird pattern. 20th century. Size of teapot: 5.75 inches ht. x 9 inches across spout x 5.25 inches diameter. Excellent condition, with no damage or repairs. #665/RO, 1603/RO, 1642/RO. A wonderful set consisting of a globular teapot with bud finial to cover and tendril handle; covered sugar bowl with bud finial; and milk jug with tendril handle.

Very scarce Northwest Coast Tlingit potlatch ladle, fashioned from hand-beaten copper and Dall mountain sheep horn. Circa 1840s. Size: 9 inches length (3.25 inches handle). Copper objects were signs of great wealth and prestige among Northwest tribes. Such spoons were prized possessions that were brought out for marriages and important feasts. This spoon has a carved horn handle in the form of a seal with flippers and red stained teeth, which is riveted to a copper stem and bowl...

A fine 19th century American tea caddy in the Japanese taste with applied floral motifs. Condition: no repairs, but with a few small dings to the body. Gorham date marks for 1888.

French art glass pate-de-verre bumble bee ring dish by Almeric Walter, Nancy, circa 1920's. Designed by Henri Berge. Size: 3 7/8 inches length x 2 3/8 inches width x 1 1/8 inches height. A boat shaped frosted glass dish shading to yellow and green, adorned with a three dimensional figure of a bumble bee resting on the rim. Excellent condition. Signed: Berge SC. A. Tiffany and Co. sterling silver pierced sugar sifter spoon in strawberry vine pattern. Circa 1891-1902. Manufactured during the directorship of Charles Tiffany and stamped on the base of the handle. Size: This is the large size version measuring 5 3/8 inches in length. Monogrammed inside the pierced bowl. 1.36 troy ounces. Excellent condition. Would also serve nicely as a tea strainer because of the fine piercing.

Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. Excellent original finish and condition; found in a home in Northfield, Vermont. The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.
