Federal period mahogany sideboard, probably Boston, Massachusetts area. Circa 1815-1820. This fine Sheraton sideboard comes from an early residence in Claremont, New Hampshire and features a bowed central section with a stepped top with rare central demi-lune recess. It is adorned with bands of lunette inlay reminiscent of the work of the cabinetmakers John and Thomas Seymour. New York state Federal era side board with serpentine front. Circa 1795-1805. This mahogany Hepplewhite sideboard has four drawers above four conforming doors faced with book matched, figured mahogany veneers. The tapered legs are adorned with inlaid Grecian urns above bellflowers and elliptical inlay. There is a signature on the underside which has not been deciphered, apart from the letters NY for New York. Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. English Arts and Crafts era hall tree, Shepherd and Hedger, Southampton. Circa 1900. All original with round, tilting beveled glass mirror, metal coat hooks (4 large, 2 small and 2 swivel), two umbrella/cane holders with carved barley twist front supports and tin drip pans, lift-up seat with storage beneath, and decorative beading. Size: 77" ht. x 45" wide x 13" deep. Original maker's label on reverse. Excellent condition.

A New England Queen Anne highboy, circa 1750, in cherry, being a marriage of a period base with a period top. The proportions and color of the two components mesh very nicely, though the secondary woods differ, white pine versus chestnut. Found in a New Hampshire home. Refinished and with replaced brasses, otherwise in fine condition, without further restoration. Dimensions: 77 3/8" height x 38 1/2" width x 19 1/4" depth.
