"Across the Marsh" by Charles Abel Corwin (American, 1857-1938), oil on canvas, circa 1925, signed lower left. This later example of Corwin's work was probably painted along the North Shore of Massachusetts at the peak of autumn's colors. Corwin was born in Newburgh, NY,and most of his career was spent in NYC, where he was best known as a muralist, lithographer and painter.
