SOLD 

American art pottery puzzle mug by George E. Ohr. Circa 1915. Mint condition. This mug is fashioned from terra cotta colored clay covered in a striated brown glaze. Impressed on the underside "G.E. Ohr Biloxi Miss." The handle is adorned with a stylized rabbit's head, and the rim, handle and sides are perforated with a pattern of holes. Size: 3 3/4" ht. x 3 5/8" diameter x 5 1/8" across the handle.

Three-piece French silver coffee service, 1st standard .950 silver. Circa 1900. Hallmarked. A bachelor's size set of pear form, supported on three hoof feet, with cast and repousse scrolling foliate decoration to the bodies and covers. The ebony handles demonstrate fine, delicate turnings. No monograms. Excellent original condition with no repairs or dents. Size of pot: 5.75" high x 5.25" across the handle x 3" diameter.

Carved bone and ebony Civil War era dominoes. Mid 19th century. This complete set is comprised of 28 tiles carved from bone, laminated onto ebony, secured with brass pins. They are offered in their original wooden case with sliding cover. Box measures: 6.75" x 2.25" x 2.4". Condition is very good, but exhibiting some signs of wear and minor chipping to some tiles. All in all a great early game.

English partial tea service adorned in Imari decoration, unmarked but probably Coalport, with some pieces bearing the pattern number 653 painted in red. Circa 1810-1825. This service includes the following items: teapot with stand, milk jug, waste bowl, 9.5 inch plate, 6 tea cups, 2 coffee cups (one cracked), and 4 saucers. Dimensions of tea pot: 10 inches long x 5.5 inches high x 5 inches deep. Very good condition with some wear to gilding.

Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. There are bubbles visible in the glass. Dimensions: 9.5" wide x 7" deep x13.25" high.

French antique fan in gilded fan-shaped shadow box display. 19th century. This fan has carved bone sticks that are pierced and parcel gilded with roundels of birds and baskets of flowers. The paper fan is painted with figures and accented with gilded decoration. Condition is very good with no breaks or cracks to the bone sticks, though there are some tears to the paper at the folds, commensurate with the age. Covered porcelain soup tureen with underplate; handpainted floral decoration; turquoise glaze border; gilded finial, handles and edges. 19th century. Unmarked but probably Continental. Size: 11 1/8" across handles x 9.5" diameter x 10.75" high. Plate: 12 1/8" diameter. Condition of the tureen and cover is excellent, with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is a chip to the underside of the rim of the underplate.

Swiss music box in an inlaid rosewood case with hinged lid and internal glass dust cover; the movement with a 6" brass cylinder playing four Scottish songs on a steel comb. Made in Geneva in the late 19th century. Tunes include: The Blind Girl to her Harp, Bonnie Doon, The Blue Bells of Scotland, and Old Bob Ridley.
