Pair of Irish sterling silver fiddle pattern table spoons, Dublin, 1812, by silversmith Richard Whitford, retailed by Matthew West. Engraved family crest of an eagle atop a tower. Very nice condition with well struck hallmarks, and the bowls retaining their shapes. No repairs. Some scratches and wear to crests. Size: 8.75" long.

Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar. Size: 6.5" diame ...click for details

Antique English cut glass claret jug with sterling silver mounts by John Figg, London, 1872-1873. The glass body is decorated with a cut star design. There is a chip to the glass foot ring, which is covered by a sterling silver mount, hallmarked by E.H. Stockwell, London 1872. Otherwise condition is excellent. Matching hallmarks to cover, handle and silver neck ring. Size: 9.5" high x 5.5" across handle/spout x 5" diameter.

George III sterling silver caster or shaker, London, 1775-1776, by Thomas Daniel. This caster is of baluster form with a corkscrew finial, engraved and pierced cover, and rope twist decoration. Fully hallmarked on body under foot and with maker's mark and lion passant only on the cover. Excellent condition with no repairs or dents. No wobble to base. Size: 5.5" ht.

SOLD 

Large English Georgian style sugar shaker or caster, London, by Turner Bradbury, 1892-1893. Decorated with swirling gadrooned elements, being on a raised circular foot, and with a flame finial. Engraved in a cartouche with a crest of a rearing horse and with script initials and a presentation date of 1895. Excellent condition with only minor bruising to some of the high spots. Very slight wobble to base, and the cover is struck with a full matching set of hallmarks. Size: 9" ht.
