Rare early beehive mahogany veneered shelf clock, with unusual 8-day movement signed by Brewster and Ingrhams, Bristol, CT. Circa 1850s. There is a paper label of Jonathan Frost, of reading, MA, who retailed the clock. Original dial, etched panel, and in running condition, striking the hour on a gong. Size: 18.75 inches high x 10.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep.

Rotating musical Christmas tree stand, invented and patented by Johannes Eckardt in 1878 in Stuttgart, Germany and also patented in Austria, England and America. This Xmas tree stand has a cast iron support cup which fits atop a musical, rotating keywind movement which plays a single carol, Silent Night.
