Swiss music box in an inlaid rosewood case with hinged lid and internal glass dust cover; the movement with a 6" brass cylinder playing four Scottish songs on a steel comb. Made in Geneva in the late 19th century. Tunes include: The Blind Girl to her Harp, Bonnie Doon, The Blue Bells of Scotland, and Old Bob Ridley. Running horse copper weather vane, c.1880s, retaining much of its gilded finish, and including a modern iron display stand. A great piece of folk art! Condition: some minor splitting at seams on top of back near tail; small crack on one ear; no bullet holes; mounted on a new support. Well modeled head and great flowing mane & tail with finely serrated edges. Size: 30" length x 22" height (on stand) x 3.5" depth (stand). New York state provenance.

Set of twelve Copeland's Spode porcelain dessert plates with pink glazed borders and floral bouquet centers (each plate is decorated with an individual floral arrangement). Pattern #4375. Made for retailer Tatman of Chicago, with date codes for 1927, and with one plate being a later replacement, bearing a date code for 1938 and signed by the artist P. Hall. Size: 9" diameter. Condition: excellent, except for a rim chip to the underside of the rim of one plate.
