Norbert Goeneutte (French, 1854-1894) genre painting of a Parisian bookseller. Oil on wood panel. Dated 1881. Size: 12 1/8" x 16 1/8". Signed lower right. Condition: excellent. Goeneutte was a painter of genre scenes, portraits and urban landscapes. He is best known for his depictions of everyday life in Paris, with particular attention to the women of the city.

Flora Danica porcelain covered custard cup by Royal Copenhagen. Dated 1916. Size: 3.25" height x 2.5" diameter. Flora Danica is one of the finest of porcelain patterns. The original service was commissioned by the Danish king, Christian VII, in 1790, as a gift for Empress Catherine the Great of Russia. A rare French porcelain figural inkstand in the form of a grazing cow, 19th century. This inkstand has a removable inkwell and sander and is modeled in the form of a grazing cow, complete with horns and bell, decorated in polychrome enamels, with overglaze gilt accents. It bears a blue pseudo Sevres mark on the underside. Continental, probably of French origin. American Revolutionary War era military style wooden canteen. 19th century. Oak hand carved staves held together by four horizontal hand forged iron bands and two vertical bands; two iron rings and hand forged nails. A keg form canteen with two holes in the top; and with two iron carrying rings for a sling. Condition is very good; the upper most iron band is loose. Dimensions: 8" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.

Etruscan style Victorian bangle bracelet of buckle form, fashioned in 14kt gold with a higher karat wash, and set with 3 round diamonds and 16 seed pearls on a woven mesh backing. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but tests 14kt with an 18kt vermeil. Wonderful quality and condition (a couple of tiny dings). It has a later inscription engraved on the inside of the bracelet, "1943 To Brenda, With all my love, Sam." Frederick Carder designed Steuben art vase in a gold aurene iridescent finish with ruffled rim on a twisted pedestal stem. Circa 1905. An early example with a low production number '182'. Signed and numbered under base. Size: 8 3/4" high x 5 1/8" diameter. Excellent condition.

Double gourd form decorated in three colors with relief carved blue and white floral designs on a satin glass ground, together with a trademark butterfly on the reverse.
