Exceptional Irish sterling silver baluster form coffee pot by silversmith William Williamson, Dublin. Circa 1740. Size: 10.75 inches ht. x 9.5 inches across spout x 4.5 inches in diameter. Approx. 30.5 troy ounces total weight, including wooden scroll handle. Excellent condition, no repairs. An important table dinner bell by the renowned partnership of silversmiths Wakelin and Taylor, London, 1787. Turned ivory handle; the silver bell engraved with all-over decoration including motifs of foliate scrolls, birds, swags, and an armoured helm, together with a family crest. Size: 5 1/2 inches tall x 2 7/8 inches diameter. 8.16 troy ounces total weight. Condition: excellent, with a tight age crack to the ivory handle. Crisp hallmarks on inside of bell.
