Pair of French porcelain urns in the manner of Sevres and bearing hand painted Sevres marks in blue on the underneath of the bases, though not believed to have been manufactured at the Sevres factory. Circa 1880. The urns are hand painted with figures of a courting couple in a landscape, with raised gilt embellishments, and each is signed by the artist who painted these scenes. French Sevres porcelain urn-form vase in a cobalt glaze, decorated with ornate ormolu mounts and a bronze cherub holding a dove. 19th century. The vase had once been converted into a lamp. Size: 24.25 inches ht. x 12.5 inches wide x 9 inches deep. Very nice condition, no chips or cracks or breaks.
Covered porcelain soup tureen with underplate; handpainted floral decoration; turquoise glaze border; gilded finial, handles and edges. 19th century. Unmarked but probably Continental. Size: 11 1/8" across handles x 9.5" diameter x 10.75" high. Plate: 12 1/8" diameter. Condition of the tureen and cover is excellent, with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is a chip to the underside of the rim of the underplate.
Pair of cache pots and stands, with hand painted flowers in oval reserves, and artist signed 'Gust'. The flower pots are covered in turquoise glaze with gilded accents and molded classical female masks. 19th century, probably of French origin. Size: 6" ht. x 4.75" diameter. Very good condition, some staining to the interior of one pot. No chips, cracks, or restoration. Maker's stamp 'G&C'.
