A French Manche a Gigot bone holder used to secure a leg of lamb or mutton while carving. The handle bears the French guarantee mark of the first silver standard (.950) and the holder, with its crown shaped terminal and trefoil screw, is of silverplated steel. Circa 1860-80. Excellent condition. Length: 8 3/8 inches.

English Victorian sterling silver inkstand, Sheffield assay, 1850, by Henry Wilkinson and Company. This inkstand is decorated with geometric hand piercing and has rococo foliate borders, supported on four acanthus feet, with two silver mounted, faceted glass ink bottles and a central removable taper stick, used for the melting of sealing wax. A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration, just some minor wear to gilding on top rim.

Double bladed and hinged Georgian fish knife server, sterling silver, London, 1800, by silversmith John Sheketon. Old English pattern with thread decoration to the hollow silver handle. Matching hallmarks on both blades and also on the handle. Excellent condition, with some minor bruising to the handle end. Hand pierced decoration to the top hinged blade. Size: 11.75" length.

Native American Crow mirror bag, fully beaded on hide with long fringe and carrying strap. Circa 1890. Excellent condition. Size: 31 inches overall length x 6 inches wide. Bag only: 8 5/8 inches length x 6 inches. The bag and strap are beaded on the face side with a geometric design in tiny glass beads of various colors and the hide and fringe are stained with red ochre.

This bowl was manufactured in London in 1784 by the famous partnership of silversmiths Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, who produced silver for the firm of Parker and Wakelin, the Royal Goldsmiths who provided silver for the Prince of Wales and for much of the nobility of England. The bowl is formed of heavy gauge silver, weighing 10.37 troy ounces. Aesthetic style coin silver octagonal bowl by William Forbes for the famous firm of Ball, Tomkins and Black, New York. Circa 1845. This bowl was probably originally part of a tea and coffee service. It weighs a substantial 12.92 troy ounces and measures 3.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. It is beautifully engraved with chinoiserie decoration, using stylized Chinese pagodas and scrolling foliage. One panel is engraved with the family monogram 'MEW.' Excellent condition.

George III two handled sterling silver cup by silversmith John Langlands I, Newcastle, 1769. Size: 5 inches ht. x 7.5 inches wide x 4 inches diameter; 10.43 troy ounces. John Langlands came from a noted family of plate makers. The cup has two opposing scroll handles, each of which bears the18th century owners' engraved, shaded block initials - M*M and M.W.
