Tiffany and Company sterling silver large stuffing serving spoon with family crest. Size: 12.25" long. Circa 1902-1907 (Charles Cook's directorship). Stamped with pseudo hallmarks as well as with the Tiffany & Co. sterling stamp. Excellent condition, with only some superficial scratches.

American stoneware 2 gallon ovoid jug by Cowden and Wilcox, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Circa 1865. Decorated with hand painted cobalt blue floral spray. Size: 14 in. ht. Very minor flake to top rim and a tight firing line to one side of top of handled (not damage but made during manufacturing) and fine tiny burst bubbles in cobalt glaze, also part of manufacturing process. Enoch Wood historical Staffordshire dark blue transfer plate, Moulin sur la Marne a Charenton, from the French series. Circa 1825. Pearlware with grapevine border and with pottery's impressed WOOD mark and underglaze blue pattern name. Size: 9 1/8" diameter. Condition is very good apart from some light staining to reverse of plate.

Sikes Hydrometer by Husbands and Clarke, Bristol, England in its original mahogany box. 19th century. The Sikes Hydrometer was used to determine the alcohol content of spirits in determining its proof. This set includes a brass float, thermometer, and 10 weights used to measure the specific gravity of the liquid (labeled 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, plus the calibration cap weight). English lozenge-shaped porcelain serving dish from a dessert service, embellished with a wide, elaborate gilded scroll border surrounding a central hand painted bouquet of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Possibly Spode or Coalport. Condition: some minor wear to the gilding on the rim; no cracks or lines. Size: 10 3/4" x 7 3/8". Other pieces available from this service.

Lozenge shaped porcelain serving dish from an English dessert service, decorated with an ornate gilded scroll border and with a central hand-painted reserve of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Size: 11" x 7.5" Condition is excellent; no chips or lines; hardly any wear to the gilding or flower painting. Possibly Spode or Coalport. A mid Victorian embossed brooch/pin set with eleven oval, faceted garnets. 19th century. Unmarked but tests 14Kt gold. Size: 1.75 inches width x 1.25 inches ht.

Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.

English Tunbridgeware work/sewing/jewelry box in walnut veneer, decorated with two bands of chevron inlay of various exotic woods and with two hexagonal mother-of-pearl escutcheons. Circa 1880-1900. The interior is lined with paper and fabric, and there is a fitted lift-out tray. Condition: age crack to rear top of lid, several older veneer patches at corners, replaced hinges, faint scratching of a name on cover. All decorative inlay is intact. Dimensions: 9.75" long x 6.75" deep x 5"high.

A sterling silver soup ladle by the noted New York silversmith, John Polhamus, in the King's pattern (double struck). Circa 1860s. Length: 12.5 in. Engraved H.S. in a Gothic script on handle. Struck with J. Polhamus mark and 'sterling'. Nice original condition.

English George III snuff box fashioned from horn and with a tortoiseshell veneer on the cover. Circa 1790-1810. The cover is also inlaid with a floral design in silver and gold. Chip to one corner of cover (see photo detail); hinge is firm and carved from the horn, with a snug fit to the lid. Size: 3" long x 1.5" deep x .75" high.

A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740. Engraved with original owner's initials "ILC" in shaded block letters on the reverse of the notched trefid handle. There is a worn ribbed rat tail to the reverse of the shallow bowl.
